In the second half of the 20th century, Fr. Giudice began to plant the first nucleus of agrumeto, which then extended to the whole hill overlooking the square, now called Vittorio Veneto. The citrus grove is set in the neighborhood of Santa Maria Vecchia, in an area rich in historical memories ranging from the stone age to the late Middle Ages. Today, citrus fruit is largely made up of mandarin plants of the "Avana" variety.
The fruit harvest, with intense scent, takes place between December and January. From the bush of the fruits not yet ripe, thanks to the presence of unmistakable perfume, it is obtained with a
process handed down for centuries, a unique liqueur and delicate taste.
